
Four cell phone companies are teaming up to create “It can wait” ad campaign.
Despite major competition in the cellphone industry, four of the most prominent companies are coming together to generate a unified “It Can Wait” ad campaign against texting and driving. Beginning this summer, AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, and T-Mobile will pool their resources to fund the multi-million dollar campaign.
The “It can wait” slogan was championed by AT&T, but the four cell phone companies and at least 200 other organizations are joining in to create a succinct message highlighting the dangers of texting and driving. This rare unification of competing companies will feature ads across various platforms including TV and radio ads, as well as prominent displays on Goodyear blimps, store displays, and social media.
