and the Atlanta Hawks have been doing this summer. Both the Atlanta Hawks and Kia Motors of America have grouped up this summer to once again run the 5th Annual Atlanta Hawks Kia Summer Hoops Tour. For the month of July the Atlanta Hawks have been around the greater Atlanta area making stops ranging from YMCAs to churches.
The Kia Summer Hoops Tour made several scheduled and offered 20 clinics in 25 days during the month of July. The camp is put on by the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Development Team and really makes each kid work hard for an hour-and-a-half. At each camp there are more than 50 boys and girls who are given instruction regarding basketball fundamentals all the while, they learned about the importance of school, character and fitness as well. As a complimentary gift all the boys and girls receive an Atlanta Hawks jersey as well as a goody-bag provided by the Hawks as well as Kia Motors.
One of the hits of each camp was the individual shooting competition that each camp had. The winners have the privilege of having their name posted on the website as well as additional prize options.
Both Kia Motors and the Atlanta Hawks realize that obesity is becoming an epidemic in the United States and by putting on these camps they get to instill the importance of fitness as well as the benefits of paying attention in school and always striving for more education.
