It’s a Bird. It’s a Plane. It’s the 2013 Kia Sportage

The Wonder Woman Kia Sportage is DC Entertainment’s latest attempt at making a new Kia “super.”

Last year, Kia introduced five “superhero” models inspired by DC Entertainment’s Justice League characters. The original series featured Kia vehicles themed after DC superheroes, such as Batman, Flash, Aquaman, Green Lantern, and Cyborg. Kia recently revisited the superhero scene by introducing the Wonder Woman Kia Sportage at the New York Auto Show. The “super-styling” of this vehicle got us thinking about what Wonder Woman and the 2013 Kia Sportage near Chicago, IL have in common. (more…)

Kia Launches New Special Edition

The Kia Soul has done it once again with another special edition, the Kia Soul “Hamstar” edition. Many people throughout the United States have seen the “Hamstars” in several of Kia’s TV spots, whether that is a good thing or a bad thing is uncertain, but what matters is that regardless of your viewpoint is it almost impossible to not remember them. With that being said, the new Soul is adding yet another special edition, and this time around it’s based on Kia’s very own “Hamstars.”

The concept for the new Kia Soul “Hamstar” Edition was unveiled awhile back during the 2010 SEMA show but now the most recent Special Edition will be released sooner than later. It has been confirmed ,from Kia Motors, that this Kia Soul Special Edition is set to hit lots, including Bill Jacobs Kia, in enough time for the 2011 Spring season.

The new Soul will feature stripes running up the doors and stretch over to the fenders. What makes the “Hamstar” Special Edition special is the star “Hamstar” logo that’s on the hood and back gate. The Soul “Hamstar” will feature a unique wheel package that has specialized rims and tires. The interior will feature more “Hamstar” personalization throughout and wont steer too far from the general Kia Soul layout. Specifics on the price have not yet been released yet, but it’s safe to assume it will cost you just a little more than the standard Soul option.
