Kia is kicking off the new racing season right. Fresh off the 2011 title in the Street Tuner division as well as the driver title, the company welcomed some new racers as they began the new season at Daytona International Speedway on Jan. 27.

He will compete with teammate Nic Johnsson in the 2012 Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Championship season. Lally is no stranger to the Kia series, as he helped win the Daytona event a year ago before leaving for Nascar. Now he returns, and is pleased to be driving a Kia Forte.
“The Kia Forte Koups are some of the best prepared race cars I have ever driven, and I am looking forward to getting the season started,” Lally said.
